Concessions Team MemberThe Concessions Team Member will provide Charlotte Convention Center guests with a quality experience at the Starbucks Concessions, while maintaining compliance with applicable federal and state regulations regarding safety, health, and the sale of food and beverages.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide quality customer service.Articulate event and other information to our clients and customers.Prepare and serve adequate amounts of food as directed.Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.Maintain cooperative working relationship with all Convention Center departments.Always meets workplace sanitation and safety guidelines.Maintain professional attire, image, and demeanor at all times.Comply with all CRVA and Convention Center policies and procedures.Perform other duties as requested.Must be able to work flexible hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.Knowledge and Skill RequirementsAbility to operate kitchen equipment.Excellent written and verbal skills.Ability to communicate information effectively to managers, customers, and the general public.Problem solving skills.Strong Organizational skillsPrevious experience in a quick serve operation preferredAbility to anticipate customer needs, builds positive relationships with customers and vendors, goes the extra mile to satisfy and exceed customer needs.Treats all customers and vendors with highest degree of respect and courtesy, delivers exceptional service to internal and external customers.Education and Experience2 years' experience in a customer service environment preferred.Physical DemandsThe employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 15 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear.Work EnvironmentThe noise level in the work environment is moderate depending on event within the facility.Travel RequiredThis job has no travel requirements.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
