We're searching for a resourceful and collaborative Automated Warehouse Specialist (Shipping & Receiving) to join our US-based team!Summary As an Automated Warehouse Specialist (Shipping & Receiving), you will play an important role in supporting the Americas region. This position is primarily responsible for executing inbound and outbound logistics activities for spare parts that support biopharmaceutical and life sciences machinery, while maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.Operating within a partially automated warehouse environment, this role requires a balance of hands-on execution and strong systems acumen. The ideal candidate is technologically proficient, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms (SAP preferred), with a strong understanding of inventory control methodologies and transaction discipline.Essential Functions*Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Shipping & Receiving Operations (Primary Focus)Execute all inbound receiving activities including unloading, inspection, verification against purchase orders, and system receipt in SAP/WMSManage outbound shipping processes including order preparation, packing, labeling, and carrier coordinationPrepare and validate shipping documentation (packing lists, bills of lading, export documentation where applicable)Resolve shipment discrepancies, damages, and carrier issues in a timely mannerMaterial Handling & Warehouse OperationsOperate material handling equipment including gas-powered forklifts (certification provided by Fedegari and/or external partner)Perform light physical handling of materials, ensuring safe and efficient movement of goodsMaintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and adherence to all OSHA standardsFollow all safety protocols and regulatory requirementsWarehouse Systems, Automation, and CollaborationUtilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and SAP ERP for all inventory and logistics transactionsWith guidance from the Supply Chain Manager, support continuous improvement of warehouse processes through system utilization and data accuracyAssist in maintaining and optimizing automated or semi-automated warehouse workflowsAs a member of the Customer Care Team, partner with service and sales teams to prioritize urgent shipments and collaborate cross-functionallyRequired Education and ExperienceAssociate’s degree or directly equivalent work experience in a professional environment3+ years of directly equivalent work experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, and/or inventory controlStrong technical proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)Prior forklift and material handling experienceStrong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracyAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCourteous, supportive, and respectful in all interactionsPreferred Education and ExperienceExperience supporting automated warehouse and supply chain operations in a highly-regulated industry such as biopharma/life sciences or chemical manufacturingFedegari offers highly-competitive total compensation including 100% employer-paid comprehensive healthcare, generous 401(k) match, tuition and learning assistance, and a unique, exciting work environment.
