We are currently seeking a Dispatcher to join our Cargo Logistics Division.LocationPort Fourchon, Louisiana, United States.Core PurposeEfficiently coordinate the scheduling, tracking, and delivery of CCU equipment to customer location.Ensure timely deployment, accurate documentation, and compliance with safety and operational standards while optimising resource utilisation and maintaining excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Maintain and update the overall Cargo Carrying Unit (CCU) inventory.Oversee the management and proper functioning of cargo carrying GPS unites.Maintain and ensure compliance of the sling system in accordance with company and regulatory standards.Maintain technical knowledge of products, particularly rental equipment, to support operations and provide guidance as needed.Act as the primary contact for customers, managing delivery schedules, order status updates, and resolving any issues that arise.Address customer concerns or escalate them to management as needed.Ensure all shipments comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and customer requirements.Maintain up-to-date shipping records, certifications, and necessary paperwork related to CCU movements and sling compliance.Provide technical training as needed to members of the production tech team.Perform work in a safe, timely manner, prioritizing time according to the needs of the system, and quickly completing those projects that are critical to internal and external customer satisfaction issues.Conduct company business as directed by the company’s management group and further develop the system in accordance with the company’s mission and quality objectives and goals.Report to management any system discrepancies or opportunities for improvement.Ensure adherence to company policies while supporting initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture.Follow and execute all processes outlined in the position’s operating procedures and work instructions.Maintain awareness of the quality system and understand ISO 9001 requirements relevant to the role and Crew Foreman responsibilities.Perform other tasks and assist in special projects as per supervisor’s request.Coordinate all trucking as per customer needs.Assist in taking orders from customers.Coordinate all yard movements and workflow as per management.Skills and Experience Two to five years of practical experience serving as a product assembly or repair technician while supervising others and/or other similar experience.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience using company server systems to manage and share administrative information efficiently.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience interacting professionally with customers, vendors, management, and colleagues.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.We are an equal opportunity employer committed to a fair and inclusive recruitment process for all applicants.
