SQL Server Database Administrator

We’re looking for a skilled SQL Server Database Administrator to join our team and play a key role in maintaining, optimizing, and evolving our database environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex performance challenges, improving processes, and partnering closely with development teams. What You’ll Do Build, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments across production and non-production systems Monitor, tune, and troubleshoot database performance to ensure reliability and scalability Manage backup strategies, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions Implement and maintain security standards, permissions, and compliance requirements Perform preventative maintenance and drive continuous process improvements Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and support application performance What You Bring Strong experience with SQL Server performance tuning and high-availability architectures Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly Hands-on experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, T-SQL, SSIS) Flexibility to provide occasional weekend or after-hours support when needed Good to Have Experience with cloud-based SQL platforms (Azure SQL, AWS RDS) Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub) Database design and development experience Power BI knowledge ETL design, development, and support experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $74,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
