You will work with the sales team to ensure the high levels of guest satisfaction. The person in this position must be able to roll their sleeves up and assist our teams when needed, living our "ONE TEAM. ONE VISION." philosophy. This person must also provide innovative ways that align with our mission to be the best, most respected hotel company in America.The job is simple:Focus on ways to promote and engage.Continuously exemplify and live by our Culture.Meet/exceed our company goals and three metrics.Job Requirements:Complete all required trainingAdhere to all standard operating procedures and property specific brand standardsPerform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guestsProvide personalized, friendly service to every guest and associateRespond to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc.Initiate new sales, prospects and qualified leadsHost and entertain clients and maintain client accountsConduct property site tours with the intent of promoting hotel facilities and servicesDetermine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost businessDevelop sales plans and strategies to meet and exceed established revenue and room night goalsPartner with operations departments to ensure full participation in servicing accountsPhysical Requirements:Be able to bend, reach, kneel, push, and stretch and lift and/or carry up to 25 poundsCan perform work for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environmentMust have eyesight enabling vision both near and farMust be comfortable using a step stool or ladderMust be able to use/lift arms for up to 8 hoursMust be able to handle heat and stressHave finger dexterity for operating equipmentMust speak in a clear, understandable voice, hear at a basic level, and understand EnglishMust be able to writeNecessary Skills:Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc.Must be responsible for safety and security of guests, fellow employees and hotel assetsHave knowledge of fire alarm system and evacuation proceduresAble to report to all scheduled shiftsAble to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in personAble to work a flexible schedule.
