Full-Time Live-In NannyLocation: 8 months in Florida; 4 months in Martha's Vineyard Position Type: Full-Time | Live-In | 12-Month Commitment A warm and welcoming family is seeking an experienced, nurturing full-time live-in nanny to care for their two young children, ages 1 and 3. This unique position follows the family seasonally, with 8 months spent in Florida and 4 months in Martha's VineyardThe ideal candidate will provide attentive childcare, create engaging age-appropriate activities, maintain daily routines, and assist with light household tasks related to the children. The family is looking for someone who is patient, energetic, organized, and supportive of early childhood development. Schedule, Hours & Compensation Guaranteed 40 hours per week $28-30 per hourTypical schedule may include split shifts, such as: 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM Occasional evenings and weekends with advance notice Live-in arrangement with a private bedroom and bathroom 1-2 days off per week, plus accrued PTO and holidays per family policy Must be willing to travel with the family between Florida and Martha's Vineyard (all travel expenses covered) Compensation & BenefitsPrivate furnished bedroom and bathroom Utilities and Wi-Fi included, with shared kitchen access All travel expenses covered, including transportation and lodging when necessary Paid vacation, sick days, and holidays (or in-lieu holiday pay per family policy) Primary Responsibilities Ensure the safety and wellbeing of both children at all times Plan and lead age-appropriate activities including sensory play, outdoor play, story time, and developmental learning Support preschool readiness for the 3-year-old Maintain consistent daily routines including meals, naps, sleep training, and potty training support Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children Assist with diapering, bathing, dressing, and general childcare needsDrive children locally when needed using safe driving practices and proper car seat usePerform light household including Provide daily communication with parents regarding naps, meals, activities, and milestones Coordinate with other childcare providers and attend pediatric appointments if requestedQualifications 3+ years of professional childcare experience with infants and toddlers Live-in experience preferredInfant/Child CPR and First Aid certification requiredUpdated immunizations preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving recordNon-smoker Comfortable with pets if present Strong references from previous familiesMust pass a background checkPatient, reliable, organized, and an excellent communicator
