Outside Sales Representative

Job Description We are looking to hire a motivated and enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative to join our team. The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new commercial leads and driving new permanent sales. To be a successful Outside Sales Representative, you should be persuasive and have excellent negotiation skills. Responsibilities * Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business. * Service existing clients. * Demonstrate strong knowledge of the metal recycling industry. * Meet established goals for territory development and sales quotas. * Communicate with customers and leads to identify and understand their product and service needs. * Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any hardships that may arise. Required Skills/Abilities * Excellent sales and negotiation skills. * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to function well in a high paced environment. * Ability to solve problems and/or customer complaints. * Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals. * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Education and Experience * Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred but not required. * At least two years' experience in cold call sales with a proven track record. * Basic knowledge of metals or manufacturing industry.
