Senior Automation Developer / Customer Operations Automation DeveloperWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Automation Developer to lead the design, development, and support of scalable automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and streamline business processes. This role will focus on developing enterprise automation tools using Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Apps and Power Automate, while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver with strong communication skills, experience translating business requirements into technical solutions, and a passion for process improvement and automation engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the analysis of business processes to identify automation and optimization opportunities.Design, develop, test, and implement scalable automation solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.Build workflows for intake, routing, approvals, exception handling, and reporting.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.Support and enhance existing automation tools while contributing to new automation initiatives.Integrate automation solutions with existing systems and enterprise platforms.Ensure solutions meet usability, security, governance, and performance standards.Troubleshoot, debug, and provide ongoing support for automation applications and workflows.Create and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and user guides.Support deployment activities through structured lifecycle management processes.Mentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to best practices in automation development.Stay current with emerging automation technologies and recommend improvements to existing processes and tools.Required Qualifications5 10 years of experience in automation development, process engineering, or related technical roles.Strong experience with:Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate)SharePoint data and solution architectureWorkflow and automation engineeringSolution design and systems integrationProven ability to independently gather feedback, develop solutions, and perform testing.Strong stakeholder communication and business translation skills.Strong process thinking and ability to identify automation opportunities and operational improvements.Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.Experience designing resilient, scalable automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.Strong understanding of usability, governance, security, and role-based access controls within enterprise solutions.Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.Preferred QualificationsBachelor s degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience with governance, security, and role-based access management within Power Platform environments.Familiarity with enterprise deployment and lifecycle management processes.Experience supporting both existing operational tools and greenfield automation projects.What Will Make Someone Successful in This RoleAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.Experience balancing operational support with new development initiatives.Passion for continuous improvement and automation innovation.Preferred Work ArrangementRemoteFlexible part-time schedule preferred (approximately 16 24 hours/week)Contract DetailsContract position with potential for extension based on project needs and performance.Interview ProcessVirtual interviewsAdditional InformationThis role supports ongoing enhancement and maintenance of several existing automation tools while also contributing to multiple new automation initiatives.
