Bilingual Payroll Specialist (Spanish/English) OnsiteLocation: Onsite (MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM)Employment Type: Full-TimeCompensation: $60,000 $70,000 (up to $80,000 for candidates with additional accounting experience)OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bilingual Payroll Specialist with strong experience in Paylocity to take full ownership of payroll operations. This is a critical, hands-on role responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.The ideal candidate is fluent in both Spanish and English , has full-cycle payroll experience , and is confident working independently while collaborating with HR and Accounting teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll (Primary Focus)Process weekly, full-cycle, multi-state payroll using PaylocityReview and audit timecards, PTO, and pay adjustmentsEnsure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulationsMaintain payroll data including earnings, deductions, benefits, and tax withholdingsPerform payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactivelyAddress employee payroll inquiries professionally in both Spanish and EnglishSupport year-end processes including W-2 preparation and auditsAccounting SupportPrepare payroll-related journal entries and assist with general ledger reconciliationsPartner with Accounting on payroll, tax, and benefits reconciliationAssist with month-end and year-end close processesReview payroll-related invoices and deductionsHR & Administrative Support (Secondary)Assist with onboarding and employee data entry in PaylocityMaintain accurate employee records and documentationSupport benefits administration and employee communicationsParticipate in payroll and HR process improvementsRequired Qualifications (Must-Have)35+ years of full-cycle payroll processing experienceStrong hands-on Paylocity experience (administrative level preferred)Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written)Experience processing multi-state payrollAdvanced Excel skills (reconciliations, reporting, data analysis)Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and complianceHigh attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlinesAbility to handle confidential information with discretionPreferred QualificationsExperience in high-volume or operations-driven environmentsWeekly payroll processing experienceExposure to benefits administrationBasic accounting knowledge (AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations)What We OfferHealth, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid employee-only medical coverage (where applicable)Paid time off and holidays401(k) planOpportunities for growth and advancementStable, team-oriented work environmentWork Environment100% onsite roleFast-paced, deadline-driven payroll functionHigh level of ownership and accountabilityCollaborative interaction with HR and Accounting teamsImportant: Candidates must be fully bilingual (Spanish/English) and have direct Paylocity experience to be considered.
