The role involves anchoring daily newscasts, producing compelling news segments, and reporting on timely stories with professionalism and accuracy. Responsibilities include gathering facts, developing story ideas, writing scripts, delivering engaging live or recorded reports, and collaborating with the news team to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities may include conducting interviews, covering breaking news, and contributing to the editorial process to ensure credible, impactful journalism.QualificationsStrong skills in Reporting and Broadcast Journalism, with a focus on accuracy and engaging storytelling.Proficiency in News Writing and the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling content under tight deadlines.Experience as a Presenter or Anchor with excellent public speaking and on-air delivery skills.Knowledge of Broadcasting techniques and the ability to operate within a newsroom setting.Organizational skills and attention to detail to successfully produce news segments and manage multiple tasks.Experience using newsroom software is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required for field reporting.
