Warehouse Supervisor

ResponsibilitiesPurpose Of Position:Responsible for the supervision, training, communication of company directives, coordination, and safety of an assigned team in order to ensure that volume, cost, safety and quality standards are achieved. They will work closely with all departments and report to the Materials Manager.Major Responsibilities :Supervise the assigned area's staffing, including overall headcount and vacation approvalsDemonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to employees or assign employees to experienced workers for trainingMentors and coaches group leaders and associatesInterpret blue prints, bill of materials and company policies and procedures for associatesContinually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and associate safety attitudes.
