Summary As a Roses/Roses Express Assistant Manager/Key Carrier you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our customers and supporting the Store Manager with the overall operation of the store to achieve company deliverables.Duties and responsibilities include:Assist with the hiring, training and development of store team membersAssist with all store functions and day-to-day store activitiesPerform all opening and closing proceduresAssist in protecting and securing company assetsAdhere to all policies and procedures including safety guidelinesMaintain a professional and friendly environmentMaintain all areas of the store to company standardsDirect supervisory responsibility for all hourly team membersProcess all SSC Corporate directivesAssist in the receipt and return of DSD merchandiseAssist in the management of freight flowMeet or exceed productivity standardsAssist in ordering and stocking all merchandise needsAssist in maintaining stockroom organizationAssist in ensuring the sales floor is sales effective dailyAssist in planning and implementing directives in the Store Operations Weekly BulletinQualifications:Prefer prior retail and management experienceEffective communication, interpersonal, and written skillsAbility to lift, bend, and transport merchandiseAbility to work in a high energy, team environmentAbility to work flexible scheduleBenefits:Generous benefits, flexible work schedulesHealth and welfare programs including medical, pharmacy, dental, visionPaid Time OffRetirement PlansVariety Wholesalers, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity employer.
