Full Stack Developer

Innocape is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support the development of innovative, secure, and scalable digital solutions within complex defense and government environments. Position Overview As a Full Stack Developer at Innocape, you will play a critical role in supporting the very important mission of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Your work will directly contribute to strengthening collective defense, operational readiness, and digital transformation across allied nations. You will design, develop, test, and deploy containerized applications using modern development methodologies and cloud-native architectures, working within a high-impact environment where reliability, security, and innovation truly matter. You will collaborate as part of a balanced Agile team including Product Managers, Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, and Data Scientists to deliver secure, scalable, and mission-driven iterative releases. Key Responsibilities Build containerized application tools aligned with 12-Factor App methodology, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Extreme Programming (XP) principles Develop products as part of a balanced Agile team Design and implement REST APIs and microservices architectures Develop full-stack solutions using modern JavaScript, Python, and/or Java frameworks Perform front-end development (e.g., React, Angular) and back-end development (e.g., Node.js, Django/Flask, Spring Boot) Conduct database design and programming (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Deploy containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift Participate in collaborative pair programming environments Rapidly learn and apply emerging technologies and frameworks Support the creation and sustainment of DevSecOps pipelines and Agile delivery practices Essential Qualifications Minimum 4 years of full-stack development experience (JavaScript, Python, or Java) Minimum 4 years of front-end and/or back-end development experience Minimum 4 years of database design/programming experience Experience designing and developing REST APIs Experience implementing Test Driven Development (TDD) Experience with Microservices Architecture Experience deploying containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) Experience working within collaborative Agile teams Experience delivering iterative releases in an Agile/DevSecOps environment Fluent English (oral and written) at SLP 3333 level or equivalent Preferred Experience Experience developing innovative digital products in NATO or national defense institutions Experience working within cloud-native environments Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrated security practices Strong documentation and technical communication skills Why Join Innocape?
