Speech and Language Pathologist-Pediatrics
The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with hearing, speech, language, and swallowing disorders based on medical diagnoses and physician orders, following established standards of practice.They apply growth and developmental principles to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.The role involves collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and staff, emphasizing teamwork to promote engagement, hope, health, and healing in line with organizational values.Requirements include a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology, a CCC from ASHA or in CFY, a current Nebraska state license or in progress, and BLS certification from AHA.Preferred experience is at least six months related to speech pathology.
