Funds Processing & Account Opening SpecialistLocation: Bala Cynwyd, PAWork Schedule: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)Compensation: $70,000 – $85,000 base salaryOverviewA leading financial services organization is seeking a Funds Processing & Account Opening Specialist to join its Treasury Administration team. This is a newly created, hands-on operational role supporting high-volume cash movement, account management, and trade-related activity in a fast-paced environment. The position plays a critical role in daily financial operations and requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work with senior stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount ManagementCoordinate with banks and clearing firms to open, maintain, and close accountsEnsure all documentation meets internal, regulatory, and compliance standardsPartner with internal legal and operational teams to support account setup and maintenanceFunds ProcessingPrepare, review, and process domestic and international wire transfersManage daily cash movements across a large volume of accountsPerform daily cash and wire reconciliations to ensure accuracyOperational SupportFund bank accounts to support trading and business activityMonitor and reconcile bank activity against internal systemsInvestigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerValidate general ledger coding for transactions and intercompany paymentsCompliance & ControlsAdhere to internal treasury policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsAssist with audits, internal control reviews, and operational reportingProcess ImprovementSupport automation and process improvement initiativesCollaborate with technology teams to enhance workflows, reporting, and monitoring toolsQualifications2–10 years of experience in financial services operations, treasury, cash operations, or account openingPrior experience handling wire transfers or high-volume cash movement strongly preferredStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProfessional communication style with the ability to interact with senior stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Excel required (VBA a plus)Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
