Electronic Services Processor

We don't shy away from our success and work hard each day to make great things happen for our members/customers, our teams, and ourselves.As an Electronic Services Processor, you'll support member service operations through the accurate and timely maintenance of electronic processes including but not limited to ACH/Share Draft returns/Stop Payments, ATM, debit and credit card functions. Qualified candidates will have at least one to three years of financial institution experience with a working knowledge of electronic transactions including ACH and wire requests.Job ResponsibilitiesReview all incoming request for completeness and accuracyProcess all incoming/outgoing wire requests, ACH, & share draft exceptionsProcess all incoming mailed correspondence and faxesProcess any and all requests requested by EVP/COO/CFO with appropriate authorizationProcess daily incoming and outgoing wire request as required with proper segregation of dutiesComplete all wires for internal Credit Union business (Accounting and Real Estate Department)Complete daily wire packets (documents, statements, and required approval)Process all Incoming/Outgoing FRB adjustmentsProcess daily ACH exceptionsProcess daily reclamations (log, host, track, adjust, package)Process daily indemnity/affidavit forms (log, host, adjust)Complete ACH disputes (log, host, adjust)Process all applicable documentation and or letters as requiredProcess share draft exceptionsProcess Large Item Notifications on FEDProcess fraud item return (adjust, host, log)Process Returned itemsProcess Journal VouchersProcess ATM Network adjustments/chargebacksProcess ATM balancing & adjustmentsProcess ATM disputes/chargebacks/researchProcess Coop ATM adjustments/chargebacksProcess Cashier's check stop payments and copiesProcess Cashier's check disbursementProcess FSCC/Shared branch adjustmentsProcess incoming mail payments & depositsProcess and post member payrollComplete research & miscellaneous lettersComplete all incoming member requestAssist less experienced staff in resolving share account reviews/researchArchive all required share documentsStrong knowledge of First Financial products and servicesAnswer inquiries from Branches and Member Contact Center concerning frontline processesEnsure that all processes are completed within timeline, and communicates any process delays to management immediatelyPrepares written correspondence to Branches and Member Contact Center for missing or incomplete requests.Informs Management of any potential losses or delaysReports status of all open tasks weekly as directed by managementReports all violations of internal loan policies and Government Regulations to managementCompletes or attends required compliance and/or industry training as assigned.Performs all duties in compliance with laws, regulations, Credit Union policies and proceduresMust comply with all BSA and OFAC regulationsQualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsA thorough knowledge of operations and Credit Union philosophy.A thorough knowledge of systems and overall products and servicesExcellent troubleshooting skills.Some knowledge of consumer regulations and accounting principles.Ability to review all incoming request for completeness and accuracy is a plus.Effective oral and written communications skills.Experience working with Symitar core system is preferred.High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferredThree or more years financial institution experience, in an ACH origination/electronic payments environmentWe Offer The Following Exceptional BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts and Employee Assistance ProgramCompany-sponsored Life insurance, short- and long-term disabilityVoluntary Benefits with Colonial Life and GuardianVacation time for Union employeesAdditional Vacation Service award for every 5 years of service401(k) with 3% Safe Harbor Employer ContributionsIncentives and Recognition based on performanceSpecial Product Pricing (discounted loan rates and interest on accounts with no minimum balance)Employee appreciation and recognition eventsOpportunity to win tripsOpportunities for gain sharingEmployer of ChoiceOur dedication to the educational community sets us apart from other financial institutions.
