Inventory Clerk

Description: Max Pay Rate $18.00 Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM-430PM - No OT during the week. OT - none during the week, but it's possible for OT on Saturday if there busy and get the OK from the manager to work on Saturday OT. Environment: Dry, Cooler (40 degrees) and Freezer (0-10 degrees). Will be working each section every day. Location provides gloves and jackets for these sections. Steel Toe Shoes required Equipment: No equipment will be needed for the job. Interviews: Will be done in person. Top 3 Skills: 1.have decent basic math skills since they will be doing Cycle Counting (be able to figure out hot many layers on a pallet etc. 2. Communication skills both verbal and in email. 3. Computer Skills: enter counts into their system and they will be trained on it. Day To Day Duties: Cycle count all 3 areas, help out with emails, and possibly help with will call coverage. 0-3 Years of Experience, Responsible for effectively maintaining accurate warehoused inventory balances and ensuring optimal service levels to customers. Ensures that all daily inventory transactions are recorded into the inventory system completely, accurately, and in a timely manner in order to maintain accurate available stock balance; ensures that monthly reconciling items are resolved timely, completely and accurately; ; ensures all physical inventories are processed in a timely and accurate manner; performs additional duties as assigned. Basic requirements include the ability to speak, write, and communicate in English; a basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Word and Excel; a high school diploma or equivalent; experience in reconciling warehouse inventory systems, and knowledge of basic addition and subtraction. Physical requirements include the ability to lift and move up to 10 lbs. Reports to manager or supervisor.
