Responsible for assessment, planning and care of patients undergoing diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic procedures.Essential Job DutiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Utilizes a systematic approach to provide individualized, goal-directed, nursing care by performing comprehensive nursing assessments regarding the health status of the patient, making nursing diagnoses that serve as the basis for the strategy of care, deCommunicates information appropriately with Medical Staff and other members of the health care team to promote continuity of care and attainment of patient expected outcomes.Consistently provides outstanding service to all patients, physicians, fellow employees, and guests as appropriate to position. Displays initiative to see processes through to completion and offers assistance without being asked.Possess basic knowledge of sterile techniques as it relates to the provision of CT assisted biopsies, fluoro guided procedures and other interventions within the scope of an RNPlaces PICC lines, midlines, peripheral IVs with or without ultrasound guidance; for those patient who meet criteria. Obtains and maintains the education and competency as appropriate for the insertion and care of these lines.Participates in the clinical oversight of student trainees.Required Education and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited nursing program1 - 3 years related experienceRequired License/CertificationsCurrent RN license in the state of Texas, BLS certification, ACLS certification, Competency in moderate sedation
