This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing strategic people initiatives with hands-on coordination and employee interaction.Position SummaryThe Human Resources (HR) Generalist/Employee Engagement Specialist independently provides a broad range of human resource services in the areas of:Employee recruitment and selectionEmployee engagement initiatives and workplace culture programsPlanning and coordinating employee events and recognition activitiesHuman Resources Information Systems (HRIS) managementPolicy and procedure developmentOrganizational initiatives and special projectsThis role is designed to enhance the overall employee experience at GHC-SCW while supporting organizational goals and fostering a positive, connected workplace culture.The HR Generalist performs under the general direction, guidance, and supervision of the Chief Human Resources Officer with additional accountability to the HR Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and lead employee engagement programs, wellness activities, appreciation events, and culture-building initiativesPlan and execute employee events, celebrations, recognition programs, and team-building activitiesSupport full-cycle recruitment efforts including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hiresMaintain and manage HRIS records and employee data with accuracy and confidentialityAssist with development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practicesPartner with leadership to support organizational initiatives and employee communication effortsPromote a positive employee experience through responsive HR support and relationship buildingParticipate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within Human ResourcesWhat We’re Looking ForStrong interpersonal and communication skillsPassion for employee engagement, workplace culture, and event coordinationAbility to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and attention to detailExperience in human resources, recruiting, employee relations, or organizational development preferredHRIS experience and proficiency with technology systems preferredSelf-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative environmentWhy Join GHC-SCW?At GHC-SCW, we believe engaged employees create exceptional experiences for our members and community.
