Sales Consultant
About the Role:

As a Technical Sales Consultant your primary focus will be helping our customers diagnose problems and transform provided leads into satisfied customers.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking motivated and competitive self-starters who consistently exceeds sales goals. Our ideal sales professional can explain complex technical information in a digestible way, has strong problem-solving skills and the ability to propose effective solutions. The ideal candidate has the organizational skills to manage sales leads, sales process, customer records, and follow-up activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Grow sales through expertise, understanding the customer needs and providing solutions. Examples:
Diagnose foundation, basement, and crawl space issues.
Listen to customers’ concerns and thoroughly explain repair plan.
Follow up with potential customers.
Build positive, trusting relationships with clients.
Achieve sales targets within set timelines.
2. Successful consultation and sales execution
Establish and maintain relationships with customers.
Attend and/or coordinate jobsite visits, pre-bid meetings, pre-construction meetings, and/or post-construction meetings as required
Coordinate/obtain any engineering services or permits that are required or requested
3. Grow the Business (Growth Mindset + Market Development)
Prepare a target list of potential clients as part of our business to business (B2B) marketing and networking efforts.
Initiate meetings with the marketing targets and other potential clients to develop a network and create repeat business opportunities.
Assist Marketing Team with content creation
Attend meetings, conferences, tradeshows, seminars and industry related events.
Basic Skills Required:
A high school diploma or equivalent
Highly motivated, target-driven, and a proven track record in sales.
3+ years of proven outside sales success.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience working with CRM software and sales management tools
A valid driver’s license and driving record that is insurable
Understanding of foundation repair methods, products and services
Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
Knowledge of foundation repair methods and construction key concepts
Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills
Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
Preferred Skills and experience
Previous sales experience in construction, engineering, or home services industry
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, construction management, civil engineeing or related field
