Senior Technical Program Manager – Lab & Hardware

Overview In this role you drive the lab consolidation and hardware build support that keeps R&D running smoothly. You coordinate across facilities, IT, and engineering to ensure lab capacity, builds, and prototypes are available when needed. You’ll manage multi-workstream plans, track milestones, and flag risks to leadership. This position supports a remote-enabled, hybrid lab environment and plays a key part in enabling scalable, uninterrupted development. ResponsibilitiesCoordinate the lab consolidation initiative end to end, including site moves, equipment migration, and decommissioning across teamsCollaborate with facilities, IT, and hardware engineering on lab layout, power, rack space, network, and migration timelinesTrack milestones, dependencies, and risks; escalate blockers impacting timelines or R&D continuityServe as the R&D-side point of coordination for hardware build requests to ensure access to systems, prototypes, and test equipmentMonitor build status and dependencies; proactively flag risks to program milestonesPrioritize and sequence competing build and lab requests against program urgency and lab capacity Key requirements8–12 years of experience in technical program management, hardware program management, or lab/data center operations (including lab moves or facility transitions)Experience coordinating hardware build schedules with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teamsStrong cross-functional coordination skills with ability to run multi-workstream plans under hard deadlinesExperience tracking physical hardware assets/inventory at scale, including during relocation or reconciliationExcellent written and verbal communication; ability to synthesize status for engineering leadershipBachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experiencecross-functional collaborationeffective communicationprioritization under pressurehardware program managementlab/data center operationsinventory tracking at scale
