Your role is check in merchandise received and invoiced to the store. Daily OperationsMaintaining exceptional customer service for all clienteleAdhering to "Meet and Greet" policiesEnsuring that the backroom is secure, and the doors are locked when unattendedChecking in merchandise and verifying the product invoiced is accounted forUsing forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucksMaintaining and cleaning the back room keeping everything organizedStaying up to date with the latest product knowledgeCompany StandardsLearning and maintaining adequate training for receivingTurning in all paperwork in a timely manner to the Store DirectorMaintaining an honest ethical relationship with team members, vendors, and suppliersComplying with all company policies including following dress code and wearing name tag.Basic Functions and Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift 50 lb. boxes on occasion and/or exert 25-50 lbs. of force frequently and/or 10-20 lbs. of force constantly while moving and handling materials and products. Must have dexterous use of both hands. Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items so that objects move toward areas of use. Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparations of food items and/or removing products from boxes.This is medium work requiring good, corrected vision, hearing, lifting, carrying, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, pushing, pulling, and the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery.
