Senior Software Engineer

The Product team builds full-stack features end-to-end, from designing data models to implementing interaction behaviors. We work closely with UI designers and infrastructure teams, aiming to delight users with large new features and daily product enhancements using continuous deployment. Work Location & Schedule This role is based in our New York City office with an office‐centric hybrid schedule. Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday are standard in‐office days; most Asanas can work from home on Wednesdays. Friday remote work depends on the type of work and collaborating teams. What You'll Achieve Develop full‐stack features used by millions of Asana users. Participate in every step of the product development process with an open and curious team. Write clean, beautiful code and leave the codebase better than you found it. Grow professionally by being paired with a mentor who supports and guides you through opportunities to stretch and learn. About You 5+ years of experience working within large, well‐maintained codebases. Proficiency in Typescript and React. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with other teams. Sound judgment balancing rapid delivery with quality code and long‐term maintainability. Passionate about creating a superlative user experience and attentive to detail. Appreciates productivity and cares deeply about helping teams collaborate more effectively and efficiently, including your own. What We'll Offer The estimated base salary range for this role is $202,000 – $223,000. Compensation may also include equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
