Portfolio Analyst

About the FirmA large-scale asset management company significant assets under management.About the RoleThe firm is looking for an Analyst to join the Portfolio Management Team. You'll be joining a nimble, experienced team tasked with overseeing and managing a portfolio consisting of directly originated and syndicated debt and equity investments. You'll work with the investment team to analyze financial performance, assist in diligence for amendments and add-ons, and complete quarterly fair market value processes. Primary ResponsibilitiesComplete ongoing portfolio company monitoring including in-depth analysis of financial performance and covenant compliance reportingServe as the primary contact for borrower financial reporting, covenant monitoring, and post-close credit activityLead diligence, analysis, preparation, and presentation of all post-close amendments, restructurings, and add-on investments for existing portfolio companiesPrepare materials for and present in monthly portfolio review and quarterly valuation meetings, including developing data-supported views on borrower performance and utilizing valuation tools to derive quarterly fair market valuesWork closely with investment research, operations, and investor relations teams to prepare recurring reports and ad hoc analysis on portfolio and fund performanceCoordinate pre-close and funding processes with legal counsel, borrowers, and private equity sponsorsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field1-3 years' experience in public accounting, commercial banking, or advisory servicesDemonstrated knowledge of credit terms and structures, legal documentation, financial statement analysis, and projection modelingWorking knowledge of datarooms, portfolio monitoring software, and information databases is beneficialCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation commensurate with experience.
