Database Developer
Overview:
As a Database Developer on a contract basis, you will operate within the ServiceTitan platform to diagnose issues and deliver practical, low-oversight solutions. You will combine database expertise with workflow support to enhance performance, reporting, and operational efficiency. In this role, you will work with cross-functional stakeholders to translate needs into scalable technical outcomes, and you will contribute to integrations and automation efforts. This position emphasizes reliable data handling, system reliability, and targeted improvements in a remote, established environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operation of the ServiceTitan platform and resolve workflow/system issues
- Develop, maintain, and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and ETL processes
- Create reporting tools, dashboards, and data views for performance tracking and decision making
- Build and maintain integrations and automation using Python, Zapier, and APIsInvestigate system errors, data inconsistencies, and process gaps and implement fixes with limited direction
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to translate operational needs into scalable solutions
- Support database management activities including data organization, query performance improvement, and system reliability
- Contribute to enhancements in ServiceTitan configurations, cross-platform connectivity, and workflow improvements
Key requirements:
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQLExperience with stored procedures and ETL processes
- Experience building reporting tools and dashboards
