Robotic Welder Set-up Operator

Job TitlePrinciple Duties and Areas of Responsibility:Must be able to perform machine set-ups accurately and in a timely fashionMust be able to follow and understand production schedules and workflowPerform quality checks while running productionPerform 1st piece inspection criteria, including, but not limited to, having double checks by Lead person and/or QA department.Uses proper inspection equipment, including, but not limited to, gauges, fixtures, etc.Complete set-up paperwork on each job performedMust be flexible and run production and/or work in different departments as neededMust be organized and need little supervisionSkills and Abilities:Welding experience helpfulBasic mechanical abilityKnowledge of correct usage of standard inspection equipment (tape measure, micrometer, caliper, height gauge, ect.)Ability to read and understand blueprints.Must be able to set up and run machine proficientlyMust be able to prioritize daily responsibilitiesMust display good judgment, work well independently, and work well with others.Strong Quality work ethic is required.Must be self-motivatedMust be able to lift up to 35 lbs. continuouslyMust be able to stand for 10+ hours a day.Basic computer skills and knowledge helpful.
