Quanta’s focus on the utility industry and HBK’s focus on constructability in our designs has made our integration into the Quanta family of companies seamless.About This RoleA Field Project Manager at HBK Engineering is a position that combines advanced surveying expertise with comprehensive project management and financial oversight responsibilities. This role involves overseeing all billing for designated survey projects while acting as team lead in coordinating day-to-day project controls. The position serves as the primary point of contact for clients regarding billing, reporting, and financial concerns while providing QA/QC oversight for all survey work and maintaining strong technical proficiency in survey equipment and software. Work location: Chicago, Geneva, or Oak Brook, ILWhat You'll DoAct as team lead in coordination of day-to-day project controls and operationsProvide oversight and QA/QC of all client required reporting including monthly forecasts, monthly accruals, MBE/WBE (internal and external), OSHA, EIMA, and daily route sheetsAct as Point of Contact for clients regarding billing, reporting, and day-to-day financial concernsInterface with subcontractors to ensure smooth monthly completion of invoicing and billing processesProvide periodic QA/QC checks on all HBK survey work to ensure quality standardsPerform independent reviews of survey work performed by others for accuracy and complianceCommunicate effectively with team members, clients, and project stakeholdersWhat You'll BringOne (1) year of project controls, or project management experience5+ years of surveying experienceValid driver's license (CDL not required)Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite requiredProficiency in Project Management systemsProficiency in Leica survey equipment operationsComprehensive understanding of AutoCAD Civil3D databases, point imports, description key manager, line work suffixes, and data managementStrong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalSelf-motivated and proactive attitude with good interpersonal communication skillsPhysical capability to move about on construction work sites, public streets, and parkwaysAbility to lift up to 40 poundsAbility to walk and stand for extended periods of timeAbility to sit, kneel, and squat on a daily basis with minimal frequency of kneeling and squattingHand-eye coordination necessary to operate surveying equipment and take measurementsAbility to perform outdoor standing and/or walking work every day. Compensation RangeThe anticipated compensation for this position is USD $75,000.00/Yr. - USD $120,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
