Project Control Specialist

The ideal candidate will possess the following traits and abilities: ability to use financial systems, develop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexity; analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques; work under very general supervision while completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues to ensure proper management focus; exert some influence on peers and internal customers; good interpersonal skills while representing the group on special projects outside of own group.Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Support startup and execution of various Cost-type, Fixed Price, and T&M contracts utilizing internal financial systemsProvide effective and accurate communication of key financial metrics through the development of monthly estimates to complete (ETC), annual estimates at complete (EAC), program management reviews, and other project financial deliverables to both internal and external customersSets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system to include scenario development and cost response recommendationsCreate and maintain projection models, especially across multiple CLINs/SLINsSupport audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation supportPrepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, cash forecasting, and variance analysisEnsures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the governmentPerform analysis and prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelinesPrepare financial inputs to internal reports and presentations ( FMHR, CDR, IPRS, Dashboards, etc.)The ideal candidate will be able to function successfully in a dynamic organization and communicate within a team environment including communication with all levels of internal management and customer management. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 5 + years of DoD project control experience Experience with multiple contract types, including Cost Type and Fixed Price. Experience working with/tracking multiple programs at once, at both the prime and sub levelExperience with reporting and modeling program financial informationStrong Excel skills Detail orientedUS Citizenship. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration Experience with JTR and applicable controls for travelExperience with government purchasing proceduresExperience with Unanet accounting system or similar ERPFamiliarity with FAR/DFARTS/SCI clearanceSalary Range for this position $95,000-125,000 #CJ
