Procurement is responsible for the end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for customer tail spend projects.We are trusted by our customers to maximise the value of their investment and provide an excellent customer experience. The team is focused on developing strong global category strategy, regional supplier relationships, and speed of project execution through a global purchasing team.Our talented and high-performing global team works with customers across Europe, Middle East, North America, and Asia.About the PersonYou will operate at the intersection of procurement expertise and digital intelligence — using data, AI-powered platforms, and category insight to drive smarter sourcing decisions and measurable customer value.We are looking for our procurement manager to be spending some of their time face-to-face with our customers and suppliers, this person should therefore be a commutable distance to a Nomia office, and be able to travel to our customers or suppliers if required, with limited travel anticipated, primarily within region.Key ResponsibilitiesIndirect Sourcing & ProcurementSupport development and execution of regional procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with Nomia's business objectives, customer requirements, and regional market dynamicsLead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for indirect categories, including IT hardware, software, licenses, & professional servicesRun RFx processes (RFP/RFQ) using Nomia platform, ensuring data-backed, structured, and comparable supplier responsesEvaluate suppliers based on commercial competitiveness, capability, compliance, and service quality using platform analytics and spend data to inform decisionsNegotiate pricing, service level agreements, and contractual terms with suppliers, using market data and/or cost modellingEnsure sourcing outcomes meet both Nomia and customer operational requirements, with AI proficiency and data analysis at the heart of sourcing & procurement activitiesSupplier Development & Relationship ManagementDevelop and manage relationships with regional suppliersExpand the supplier ecosystem to support indirect procurement needs across the regionMaintain and manage the regional preferred supplier list for indirect categoriesCategory & Market ExpertiseSupport development and implementation of category strategies for indirect spend, leveraging AI-driven category intelligence and regional market dataApply category management principles to regional spend, where there is no global coverageConduct regional spend and supply market analysis to identify cost optimisation opportunities, interrogating spend data and translating insights into actionable recommendationsProvide insights to Category Management and Global Buying teams regarding regional supplier markets and trendsSupplier Onboarding & ComplianceManage supplier onboarding ensuring completion of compliance checks, sanctions screening, and contractual documentationSupport supplier adoption of the Nomia platform, and adherence to structured RFx processesCustomer & Internal CollaborationSupport sourcing activities for new customer contracts, ensuring supplier capability, pricing structures, and service capability are aligned with customer needsWork collaboratively with other functions, including Business Development, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and Product teams to ensure alignment of delivering exceptional customer experiencesRepresent Nomia in supplier and customer meetings when required, articulating procurement value through data-led insights and commercial acumenContribute to continuous improvement of sourcing processes and procurement playbooksAbout You5+ years of experience working in a sourcing & Procurement roleProven ability to support category strategies & SRM initiativesA strong understanding of sourcing and procurement, S2P workflows and processes, and technologiesA strong level of AI fluency and experience of data analysis, sourcing, commercial and contract negotiation, and SRMExperience working with enterprise SaaS is advantageousEffective, empathetic verbal and written communication with all levels of seniorityGeneralEnsure compliance with Nomia's data protection and information security policiesWhilst this position is Hybrid, working from the office 3 days each week is generally expected, or more if requested by your line managerBe aware at all times of diversity and inclusion and acting in line with Nomia's core valuesFoster and promote continuous improvement in systems and processes
