We are currently seeking a Full-Time Charge Nurse to join our team at Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson, Georgia. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse ready to step into leadership while maintaining work-life balance.
Schedule
Evening shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | 8-hour shifts
Compensation
$46.00–$51.00 per hour, based on experience
$2.00/hour evening shift differential | $1.00/hour weekend shift differential

The Registered Nurse (RN) – Charge (Medical) is responsible for overseeing nursing and support staff during the assigned shift in a correctional healthcare setting, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Essential Duties
Provide both direct and indirect nursing care to patients
Supervise and support nursing and ancillary staff on shift
Work under the guidance of the Director of Nursing to maintain clinical standards
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and address a broad range of medical and behavioral health needs
