Quality Control Shipping Coordinator

B Corp companies don't just strive for being great, they inspire greatness – and that starts with our employees.As a Quality Control Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for making sure orders are prepared, packaged, and shipped accurately and on time, meeting company quality standards and client requirements. This role is responsible for performing beginning to end quality checks on all B2B orders (confirm pallet flags, label placement, etc.), verifying shipping documentation, helping coordinate carrier pickups, and maintaining accurate shipping records. This role plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and consistency in the outbound logistics process.Essential Job FunctionsInspect outgoing shipments to confirm products meet quality, packaging and labeling requirements and standards established by the client and/or retailerVerify order accuracy against packing list/pick ticket, shipping documentation and lot number verification when specifiedMake sure outgoing pallets are scanned and photos taken for each outbound order and verify that the correct shipping label / pallet flag is attachedResponsible for daily audits of shipping and fulfillment accuracyIdentify and report quality discrepancies, damages or non-conformances to respective departmental leadership for further corrective actionsMaintain accurate shipping logs and quality control auditsCollaborate with leadership, B2B fulfillment and inventory teams to resolve quality issues before shipmentRecommend process improvements to enhance shipping accuracy and quality to minimize/eliminate shipping errorsUnderstand and follow current AMS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Work together with all team members to promote a community of cooperation and respectHigh School diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred)2+ years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, and quality controlExperience with ERP or WMS systems (NetSuite, SAP, ShipStation, etc.) preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to read and interpret shipping and quality documentationOn-site presence consistent and reliable attendanceAble to successfully learn and perform essential functions of role as outlined aboveGood verbal, reading and written communication skillsAble to work independently, strong sense of urgency and follow-throughProblem-solving and critical thinking skills to handle shipping challengesBe able to interact with all other departments, team player is essentialProficiency with basic computer applications and internal software systemsAble to routinely lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.Comfortable working in a warehouse or fulfillment environmentWorking ConditionsThis job operates in a professional office environment.
