Job Role: Sr. Full stack Engineer with React experience Position Type: Contract 12+ monthsREMOTE Job description: This consultant will join a team with software engineers to perform a variety of software development assignments for the FAST team. The current focus for this team is completing a REACT / Java project.Mentor team members. Create, maintain, and troubleshoot software. Create and maintain documentation. Root cause analysis. Strong written and verbal communication skills.Include the day-in-the- life: Attend daily standups, report progress, plan for the day and impediments. High Level Technical Skills/Experience Required:Strong experience with React libraries Proficiency in fundamental web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) Java / Spring Spring data integration experience (Oracle, snowflake, mongo)Preferred SkillsExperience in test-driven development (e.g., Jest, JUnit) Proven track record in mentoring other Software Engineers Strong opinions on coding standards, code review, and software development best practices, coupled with flexibility and patience Experience with any cloud and CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with Agile methodologies Experience using GitLabUseful SkillsDomain experience with financial or insurance data and terms.
