Lead IT Engineer, Financial Center Technology
The Lead IT Engineer, FSB job designs information systems that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's information systems architecture. Under limited supervision, this job is responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the organization's operating systems.Key Responsibilities And DutiesFormulates system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.Evaluates and implements changes to existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.Reviews flow charts, models, and procedures and feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.Reviews technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of the system.Collaborates with system analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and to determine project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, systems performance standards, and interfaces.Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes.Educates end users on system designs and functionalities through creation of training materials and conducting demos.Evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of application operations and troubleshooting problems.Minimum Qualifications5 years of experience leading engineering efforts for banking systemsPrior experience supporting complex integration projectsPreferred Qualifications7 years of experience driving the design, delivery, and reliability of technology used across financial centers and bank branches. Previous background leading engineering efforts for teller platforms, account opening systems, branch devices/peripherals (cash recyclers, scanners, printers), and network/edge services. Ability to partner closely with architecture, business SMEs, and vendor teams to modernize branch platforms, ensure high availability, and improve associate and client (consumer and commercial) experience. Strong hands-on engineering expertise, proven leadership across complex retail/branch environments, and the ability to troubleshoot issues using logs, telemetry, and structured root‑cause analysis.Experience integrating branch systems (e.g., teller platforms, networking, security systems, peripherals such as check scanning and printing) ensuring seamless operation.Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise, document root cause & help with incident management.Educational RequirementsUniversity (Degree) PreferredPhysical RequirementsPhysical Requirements: Sedentary WorkCareer Level8IC$111,200 - $150,500 ,EverBank, N.A. is a nationwide specialty bank providing high-value products and services to consumer and commercial clients nationwide.
