This role will play a key part in designing and building distributed applications while collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly collaborative, and passionate about building impactful solutions in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead the development, testing, and deployment of systems and servicesContribute to technical architecture decisions and system designTranslate product requirements into user stories and scalable technical solutionsBuild and maintain highly available, scalable services in production environmentsMentor engineers and contribute to a strong technical cultureCollaborate cross-functionally with product managers, project leads, and engineersParticipate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement effortsDrive innovation by proposing new ideas, technologies, and initiativesQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field4+ years of professional software development experience2+ years of experience with Java, Kotlin, or ScalaExperience working with modern tech stacks and service-oriented or microservices architectureStrong understanding of relational databases and ORMs (e.g., PostgreSQL)Experience building and maintaining scalable, distributed systemsProven ability to take ownership of projects from concept through deliveryStrong collaboration skills with experience in agile or team-based development environments Preferred Qualifications:Experience with technologies such as Spring, React, Kubernetes, or similar frameworksFamiliarity with Kafka, Docker, or POSIX systemsFull-stack development experience (frontend or backend)Experience building or supporting mission-critical, high-availability systemsInterest in financial technology or personal financeBenefits:Eastridge Workforce Solutions offers the following benefits, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
