We may have the opportunity you have been looking for.The College of Nursing and Health Care Professions is seeking a part-time Faculty Member for Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (AGACNP).This role is remote.What You Will DoTeach one or more subjects within prescribed curriculum to facilitate and engage students in the learning processCompile bibliographies of specialized materials for outside reading assignmentsStimulate class discussionsCompile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to othersRemain current with new trends and development in his/her field of expertiseRequired to maintain the equivalent of a two courses per semesterAttend six days per year for the AGACNP on campus student experience events.What You NeedMaster’s degree required (MSN)Eighteen (18) hours of graduate study in a field relevant to teach responsibilitiesTwo or more years of relevant nursing/medical experience as a practicing nurse practitionerUnencumbered, unrestricted active current RN Licensure in Arizona or a compact state is required.Board certified ACNP or AGACNP with an active, unencumbered, current, unrestricted license in AZ APRN licenseProvide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University BonusDoctoral preferred or pursuingWhy Work At GCU401K savings plan#INDLOPESUP
