Our Core Values Reflect Our Focus On The Experience Of Each Person We SupportInclusion PartnershipRespectWhat does a Laborer do?Performs indoor general labor duties: moves, organizes & stores all incoming & outgoing furniture & equipment, (e.g. washers, dryers, etc.)Sets up tables, chairs & floor coverings as requested by work orderMoves records (medical, human resources, program etc.) to various areas as requested by work orderAssists with housekeeping duties (e.g. sweeps, mops, dust, wax and strip floors, cleans windows)On a monthly basis cleans all hood filters and lights in a building. Picks up & delivers (e.g., soiled & clean laundry, boxes, residential unit supplies)Drives hand truck, plow trucks, lift gate truck. Operates housekeeping equipment (buffer, propane buffer, vacuums, scrubbers and wet & dry vacuums, etc.)Assists maintenance workers on jobs as needed/requestedFormal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division.
