The Member Services Coordinator plays a key role in delivering a consistent, professional, and high-quality customer experience. This position is responsible for front desk operations, customer communication, scheduling support, and membership follow-up. This is not simply a front desk position. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate with urgency and professionalism in a fast-paced environment. The Member Services Coordinator helps ensure daily operations run smoothly while supporting both customers and staff. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Customer ExperienceProvide a welcoming, professional, and energetic first impression to all players, families, and guestsDeliver consistent, high-quality customer service across all interactions (in-person, phone, and email)Answer questions and assist families with programs, memberships, and schedulingEscalate complex concerns to management when appropriateMaintain clear, professional communication aligned with D-BAT Virginia Beach standards Membership & Account SupportAssist with membership inquiries, account updates, and general questionsSupport membership follow-ups, including outreach to leads and existing membersHelp monitor declined payments and notify customers as directedAccurately document customer interactions and account notesMaintain professionalism and composure in all customer interactions Scheduling & Administrative SupportAssist with scheduling lessons, rentals, camps, and clinicsEnsure bookings are accurate and properly entered into the systemCommunicate schedule updates clearly to customers and staffMaintain organized and detailed customer records Front Desk & Daily OperationsManage front desk responsibilities including check-ins, payments, and phone coverageProcess transactions accurately and efficientlyMaintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and retail areaSupport daily operational tasks including printing materials and administrative supportAssist with basic event setup and breakdown as needed Performance Expectations The Member Services Coordinator is expected to:Maintain a high level of professionalism and responsivenessEnsure accuracy in scheduling and customer informationSupport timely communication with customers and team membersContribute to a positive, structured, and team-oriented environmentOperate with urgency, reliability, and attention to detail ScheduleMonday–Friday: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PMOccasional flexibility may be required for events or peak periods QualificationsStrong communication skills with a professional and confident presenceCustomer service experience preferredOrganized and detail-oriented with the xmcpwfu ability to multitaskComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environmentReliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conductPositive attitude with a willingness to learn and take directionInterest in baseball, softball, or sports is a plusAvailability to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededAbility to stand and move throughout the facility for extended periods Benefits & PerksFree Facility Membership – Full access to cages and weight room401(k) ProgramPaid Time Off – 5 days PTO after 1 year of employmentGrowth Opportunities – Clear path for advancement within D-BAT Virginia BeachTeam Environment – Work in a high-energy, sports-driven atmosphereTeam Culture & Events – We invest in our team through company-sponsored events, including our annual Christmas party and additional team celebrations throughout the yearPerks – Access to Norfolk Tides tickets Apply Please send your resume to
