Senior Program / Project Manager
Apogee Global RMS is seeking a Senior Program / Project Manager to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder public‑sector initiatives across federal, IC, and DoD portfolios. This role is built for PMs who operate with executive discipline, understand federal delivery environments, and can drive outcomes across technical, operational, and mission‑aligned workstreams.You will serve as the connective tissue between leadership, engineering, vendors, and mission owners — ensuring programs stay aligned, risks stay visible, and delivery stays on track.What You Will Lead:Full lifecycle program and project management across federal and IC/DoD initiativesDevelopment and execution of program plans, schedules, budgets, and performance metricsStakeholder alignment across government sponsors, technical teams, and vendor partnersRisk, issue, and dependency management with clear escalation pathwaysGovernance reporting, executive briefings, and contract‑aligned deliverable oversightCoordination of cross‑functional teams in high‑visibility, high‑trust environmentsProcess improvement, workflow optimization, and operational discipline across the programRequirementsCertifications:PMP PgMP, ITIL 4, PMI‑ACP, CSM, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt are strong differentiatorsExperience Requirements:Proven success managing federal or public‑sector programsExperience leading multi‑vendor, multi‑discipline teamsStrong command of program governance, reporting, and contract complianceAbility to translate technical workstreams into clear, executive‑ready narrativesDemonstrated ability to manage risk, drive accountability, and maintain delivery momentumExceptional communication skills with senior government stakeholdersLocation & Clearance:Must reside in the NCR (DC/MD/VA)Secret minimum; TS preferred for IC/DoD‑heavy portfoliosExpected Skills:Operates with structure, clarity, and executive presenceThrives in complex, politically sensitive, or mission‑critical environmentsCan manage ambiguity while maintaining disciplined deliveryBuild trust quickly with government sponsors and technical teamsDrives outcomes without friction and communicates with precisionBenefitsWhy Apogee:Apogee supporting federal programs in this engagement where delivery excellence directly impacts mission readiness.
