By helping consumers understand their account information and available options, the organization works to facilitate positive account resolutions while maintaining respectful and productive customer relationships.About the OpportunityThe Remote Collections Specialist works directly with consumers to explain account information, discuss available payment solutions, and help resolve outstanding financial obligations.This fully remote role involves managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while maintaining accurate documentation and meeting established performance standards. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling sensitive financial conversations, building trust with consumers, and using strong communication and problem-solving skills to reach appropriate resolutions.Responsibilities• Communicate professionally with consumers to explain account information and understand their individual circumstances.• Identify appropriate options for resolving outstanding account balances.• Present payment alternatives, including payment in full and available payment plans.• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound consumer calls.• Clearly explain account details, payment options, and next steps.• Build trust and maintain respectful relationships during sensitive financial conversations.• Accurately document consumer interactions, payment arrangements, and account activity in the organization’s systems.• Meet established productivity and performance goals.• Apply coaching and feedback to continuously improve performance and customer interactions.Requirements• Minimum of 1 year of experience in call center, customer service, billing, collections, or a related field.• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.• Ability to build rapport and trust while discussing sensitive financial matters.• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.• Basic understanding of medical terminology preferred.• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively with limited supervision.• Must reside in Florida, Missouri, South Carolina, or Virginia.• Must have a quiet, private workspace suitable for professional remote work.• Reliable high-speed internet with a hardwired Ethernet connection.• Minimum internet speed of 20 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload.• Ability to meet all required technical specifications before beginning training.Pay Range and Compensation Package• $17.00 per hour• Monthly commission opportunities.Benefits & Perks• Medical insurance.• Dental insurance.• Vision insurance.• GAP insurance.• Life insurance.• 401(k) retirement plan with company match.• Paid time off.• Paid holidays.• Company-provided equipment.Equal Opportunity StatementOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
