Job DetailsJob LocationOcala - PVT - Ocala, FLDescription Job Summary The Construction Superintendent, CMS will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects related to water and wastewater infrastructure. This position will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Your role will involve managing project teams, liaising with stakeholders, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects, from initial planning to completion. Develop detailed project schedules and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans. Supervise and direct construction teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project timelines. Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to address project requirements and resolve any issues that arise. Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, budget status, and risk assessments, to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or commensurate proven work experience in a related field. Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent/ Supervisor, preferably in the water and wastewater utilities sector. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations specific to water and wastewater infrastructure. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in construction management software and other relevant tools. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate project teams. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed State-certified building & underground general contractor license
