General Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintain cleanliness levels and practices in accordance with Department of Health to ensure 'A' letter grade at all times.
Ensures that all restaurant, kitchen, and counter areas are setup/maintained and laid-out as designed and according to established floor plans and standards;
Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs;
Ensures all sales terminals and app-based ordering systems are operating efficiently and are operating to the set forth standards of operations.
Ensures that all aspects for the operations under his/her control are operating to the established standards and guidelines;
Ensures online booking platforms are updated daily and are fully monitored.
Development of all team members to keep retention rates high
Ensure monitoring and correcting of service breakdowns daily;
Ensures aggressive floor presence
Ensures the deployment of Service Recovery standards as required to ensure complete guest satisfaction;
Ensures team member knowledge of all food and beverage menu items and upselling;
Fills in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations; Controls / Financials /Cost
Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant policies and procedures; (if applicable)
Ensure that all products are received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures;
All beverage and food storage areas are secured
Reviews missing check report, voids, spills, etc.
Responsible for ensuring successful training of new team members;
Fill in as needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations;
Is knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administer prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures;
Fully understands and ensures compliance with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests;
Ensures team members are fully conversant with Emergency Procedures;
Monitors all front and back of house areas for safety hazards;
Ensure the following is adhered to: Storerooms and refrigerators are locked; Back door(s) is/are secured.
Achieving and maintaining Department of Health Standards
Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs;
Ensure service to all guests follows established standards, is consistent, efficient and courteous
Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner;
Knows emergency procedures (including CPR) and work to prevent accidents;
Knows and adheres to all liquor liability laws;
Is knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and administers prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures;
Performs other duties as directed by senior management.
Ability to acquire all necessary Food and Beverage certification requirements
Ability to lift items in excess of 50 pounds.
Education:
Minimum education level required
Specialized certifications, training or degrees required
Minimum 3 years Management Experience in Food and Beverage.
Computer proficiency and knowledge of POS required
Sanitation Certification required
Licenses or Certificates: TIPS ABRA, ServSafe certified required.
Other Requirements:
Skilled knowledge of food, wine and spirits
Must possess a flexible and varied schedule to accommodate business demands, including weekends and Holidays
Outstanding leadership capability
Exceptional guest service orientation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Personal appearance and professional dress required
Licenses or Certificates: TIPS ABRA, ServSafe certified required.
Physical Requirements:
Position requires walking and giving direction most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
Must be able to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. frequently.
Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment up to 250 lbs. occasionally.
Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
Pay Range: $22-27.00/hr
