Job Overview We are seeking energetic and dedicated Swim Instructors to join our team and inspire confidence in swimmers of all ages. As a Swim Instructor, you will deliver engaging swimming lessons that focus on water safety, skill progression, and enjoyment. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help students develop their swimming abilities while fostering a positive learning environment. Duties * Lead group and individual swimming lessons tailored to students’ age and skill levels * Teach water safety techniques, including survival skills and stroke improvement * Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and correct student form * Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement * Ensure a safe swimming environment by enforcing safety rules and emergency procedures * Communicate effectively with parents or guardians about student progress and safety concerns * Maintain cleanliness of the pool area and ensure equipment is in good condition Requirements * Prior lifeguard experience or certification preferred; must be comfortable operating AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and performing CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) * Strong swimming skills with experience in swimming, martial arts, or sports-specific training instruction * Experience working with children, including behavior management and childcare skills * Knowledge of sports coaching techniques such as soccer coaching, basketball, cheerleading, climbing, or team leadership is a plus * Excellent communication skills for client interaction and instruction delivery * Ability to teach physical education concepts effectively across different age groups * Experience in sports coaching or teaching physical activities is highly desirable * Certification in first aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire * Enthusiastic team player with a passion for promoting water safety and physical activity Join us to make waves in your community by helping individuals gain confidence in the water!
