This role is backed by our award-winning healthcare system and provides a chance to work in a collaborative atmosphere with a robust and established referral network.Position OverviewThe Urgent Care Physician is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a team-oriented clinical environment. This position is highly visible and plays a crucial role in fostering a positive experience for patients, colleagues, and the wider community.Assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients seeking urgent care services.Prescribe medications and formulate suitable treatment plans.Work in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support personnel to ensure coordinated care.Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor with patients, families, and team members, both in person and over the phone.Assist in achieving the operational, administrative, and organizational objectives of our group.Contribute to a culture that emphasizes quality, service excellence, and financial responsibility.QualificationsGraduation from an accredited medical school.Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.Eligibility for medical licensure in the state where you will practice.Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.Board certification must be maintained without any lapse exceeding one year.Certification should be recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the American Osteopathic Association.Our organization is a physician-led multi-specialty group comprising 517 physicians, 334 advanced practice providers, and over 2,000 non-provider associates.
