Job Description Job Opportunity: CT TechnologistOur organization is looking for a skilled CT Technologist to become a vital part of our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this position, you will conduct high-quality CT imaging for a varied patient demographic within an acute care hospital setting, catering to emergency, inpatient, and outpatient needs.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform CT imaging studies while collaborating closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.Verify provider orders and screen patients for safety and contraindications related to contrast use.Clearly explain procedures to patients and obtain informed consent as necessary.Accurately position patients to ensure optimal diagnostic imaging while minimizing radiation exposure.Operate and troubleshoot CT scanners and associated equipment.Select appropriate imaging protocols and perform IV starts, administering contrast media according to established guidelines.Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and respond swiftly to any changes in their condition or adverse reactions.Maintain precise documentation in electronic health records and PACS, ensuring correct image labeling.Adhere to departmental workflows, quality assurance processes, and safety standards, including ALARA and infection prevention protocols.Assist in prioritizing workflow in a dynamic environment and coordinate STAT and trauma examinations.Support on-call duties and weekend/holiday rotations as required.Help maintain a clean, safe, and patient-focused imaging environment.QualificationsRegistered radiologic technologist with experience in CT imaging.Strong technical skills and a commitment to patient care.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to professional growth.Willingness to engage in continuing education, protocol development, and performance improvement initiatives.Working ConditionsThis role is set within a supportive, community-focused hospital environment that values teamwork, compassionate care, and effective communication.Benefits and OpportunitiesWe offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a commitment to enhancing patient health outcomes while addressing community health needs.If you are passionate about making a difference in patient care and are eager to grow in your career, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
