Residential Water Treatment Plumber
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Residential Water Treatment Plumber to install, service, and maintain water treatment systems in residential homes. This role focuses on whole-home filtration, water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and specialty treatment systems for both well and city water.
The ideal candidate has a strong plumbing background, is comfortable working independently, and can communicate professionally with homeowners. Water treatment experience is a plus but not required. We provide training for the right candidate who is reliable, mechanically sound, and motivated to grow with the company.
This is a hands-on field position with opportunities to earn additional income through commissions on plumbing upgrades and service work.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Install residential water treatment systems including water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, acid neutralizers, iron filtration systems, nitrate systems, and related equipment
Perform water testing and accurately diagnose water quality issues for well and city water applications
Properly size, set up, program, and adjust water treatment systems based on test results and manufacturer specifications
Perform plumbing connections, piping, drainage, and system tie-ins in a clean and professional manner
Conduct routine service, maintenance, and annual system checkups
Troubleshoot and repair existing water treatment systems
Identify additional plumbing needs and recommend solutions such as water heaters, faucets, valves, and related upgrades
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining system operation and maintenance
Maintain a clean, organized job site and company vehicle
Accurately document work performed and materials used
Experience & Requirements
Plumbing experience is required
Residential plumbing experience strongly preferred
Water treatment experience is ideal but not required, training will be provided
Comfortable performing physical labor and heavy lifting
Strong customer service and communication skills
Motivated to sell solutions that benefit the customer and help grow the company
Ability to work independently after training
Willingness to drive long distances as required
Must have own basic plumbing tools, specialty tools will be provided
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass any required background or driving checks
This position is ideal for a plumber who wants to specialize in water treatment while still having opportunities to earn commission on additional plumbing work.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
