Responsibilities Collaborate on the design and documentation of a variety of project types including aviation, education, civic, tribal, commercial, and federal facilities. Produce drawings, specifications, diagrams, 3D models, and reports that align with project goals. Apply building codes, ADA, and zoning regulations to develop functional, compliant design solutions. Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and team coordination efforts. Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and internal team members to deliver integrated project outcomes. Support QA/QC efforts and construction administration activities, including submittal reviews and site observations. Lead portions of project documentation and guide junior staff in design development. Soft Skills Strong communication and collaboration skills across disciplines and with clients. Critical thinking and creativity in solving complex design challenges. Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced, multi-project environment. Mentorship mindset, with a willingness to guide and support junior team members. Clear, professional writing and verbal communication skills. Initiative in identifying solutions and improving workflow efficiencies. Qualifications Degree in Architecture or related design field from a NAAB-accredited program. For licensed Architects: A valid architectural license in applicable state(s). For unlicensed professionals: Active pursuit of licensure and strong portfolio required. 5+ years of experience on diverse architectural projects. Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and related design software. Strong understanding of building codes, documentation standards, and interdisciplinary coordination. Experience in sectors such as aviation, civic, commercial, tribal, mission critical, or federal work is a plus. Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is $73,000 to $109,500 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, licensure, skills, internal equity, and location. This role is eligible for a benefits package that may include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, and retirement plan options. Stated benefits are for regular full-time positions.
