Network Technician

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Network Technician to join our team. As a Network Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network systems. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's network infrastructure. Responsibilities: - Install and configure network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls - Perform network maintenance and upgrades as needed - Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution - Monitor network performance to ensure optimal functionality - Collaborate with IT teams to implement network security measures - Assist in the design and implementation of network infrastructure projects - Provide technical support to end-users regarding network connectivity and related issues - Document network configurations and changes for future reference Experience: - Proven experience as a Network Technician or similar role - Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) - Familiarity with remote access software and VPN technologies - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python for automation tasks - Experience with network installation and configuration on various operating systems (CentOS, Solaris) - Knowledge of IT best practices for network security - Familiarity with Ansible or other configuration management tools is a plus We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for career growth.
