With a strong company culture built on a family atmosphere, we define success by how we impact the lives of the people around us.Job SummaryThe Inventory Control Specialist position supports the daily functions of the production team including organization and inventory flow, shipping and receiving updates, and other related information as related to specific jobs. This individual will be responsible for documenting and communicating real-time updates to the logistics and management team using the Syteline platform. The successful individual will maintain high levels of accuracy, sense of urgency and efficiency in day-to-day tasks. Knowledge and experience in warehouse shipping, receiving, material handling and basic operations are key to success in this role.Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesSupport the Warehouse, Logistics and Shipping Manager in all aspects of warehouse efficiency in compliance with the company’s policies and vision.Track and report on tasks, deliveries, variances, and issues. Ensure a high level of urgency and accuracy over 99% on all work activities as directed.Identify and communicate opportunities to improve systems and procedures to drive efficiency and accuracy as appropriate.Communicate regularly with Supply Chain Manager to ensure inventory related activities and priorities are being met and issues identified and resolved.Participate in daily and weekly meetings. Maintain general housekeeping, organization and structure to daily operations as directed.Participates in any other work activities as assigned.Competencies2+ years’ experience in a warehouse shipping or receiving roleForklift experienceSolid written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish Solid organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to follow directions.Strong attention to detail, time management and ability to meet assigned deadlines.Excellent visual acuity to ascertain small differences in product names, sizes and skus.Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environment.
