We are seeking an experienced Concrete Tradesman to join our FCG (Foundation, Conduit, and Grounding) crews.This role supports:Greenfield substation constructionBrownfield substation expansions and upgradesYou will work as part of a skilled traveling crew performing concrete foundation work, conduit installation, and grounding systems for utility-scale electrical infrastructure.Travel & Lodging DetailsProjects located anywhere within FloridaDaily or weekly travel to job sites is requiredReliable personal vehicle required for travel to and from job sitesClean driving record requiredWhen job sites are 2+ hours from an employee's home, Powerserve typically provides:Hotel accommodationsPer diem for meals and incidentalsCore ResponsibilitiesConstruct concrete foundations for transmission and substation infrastructurePerform foundation excavation support, rebar placement, and concrete operationsBuild and install rebar cages per engineered drawingsAssist with installation of conduit and electrical grounding systemsRead and interpret foundation layouts and civil drawingsOperate and assist with construction and foundation-related equipmentAssist with transport, loading, and unloading of tools and equipmentAccurately document foundation depth, soil conditions, and completed workWork safely around energized facilities and heavy equipmentFollow all company, client, and OSHA safety requirementsRequired QualificationsMinimum 1 year of construction experience (utility, civil, or foundation work strongly preferred)Proven outdoor construction experience in physically demanding environmentsWillingness to work outdoors in heat, rain, and varying weather conditionsAbility and willingness to travel extensively throughout FloridaValid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record (7+ years)Reliable personal vehicle for job site travelAbility to read basic construction drawingsFluent in English (speaking, reading, writing)Preferred (Strongly Desired) QualificationsUtility, substation, or transmission construction experienceExperience with:Concrete foundationsConduit installationElectrical grounding systemsClass A CDL (highly preferred)Ability to tow trailers and transport heavy equipment is a major plusExperience working on EPC or utility-scale projectsWhat This Job Is NOTNot a local-only positionNot indoor or climate-controlled workNot residential or decorative concreteNot suitable for candidates without prior construction experienceWhy Powerserve TechnologiesStable, long-term work in the utility EPC industryConsistent project pipeline throughout FloridaTravel accommodations and per diem when applicableOpportunity to grow within a specialized, high-demand tradePowerserve is an equal opportunity employerAdded to support our FCG group.
