Lead Electrical Engineer

Lead Electrical EngineerWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Power System Analysis to support our growing portfolio of commercial projects. This role is ideal for a candidate who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and mentorship skills. The Engineer will be responsible for helping more junior engineers grow and develop. Key Responsibilities: Perform detailed power system analyses including short circuit, load flow, coordination, arc flash, and voltage drop calculations. Develop electrical system models using tools such as ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower. Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated design solutions. Provide quality control and peer reviews for electrical designs and studies. Mentor and train junior electrical engineers, providing guidance on design practices, analysis methods, and project execution. Support proposal development, design charrettes, and client-facing meetings as a technical lead. Required: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering 7 plus years of electrical design with a focus on power systems for commercial buildings. Proficiency with power analysis software such as SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or EasyPower. Proven leader and ability to mentor junior staff. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. PE or EIT with ability to gain PE soon after hire.
